We were a bit short on dog power this weekend only 4 dogs in each team Allsorts had Katie, Archie, Spencer & Meg, and Hotdogs had Tess (who had been stiff earlier in the week due to a collision with Spencer), Tosh , Molly (who knows what Molly will do!!) and Alfie .
Allsorts were seeded 4 in Div 3, in what looked like a tight Division on times. The weather wasnt too bad, and all the dogs ran well. They achieved a fantastic best time of 19.95, and came 3rd in their Div, having been in joint 2nd place with 2 other teams. Again, thanks to Peter &Wendy for he following results:
Race 1: Allsorts v Racing Herts won 3-0, best time 20.06
Race 2: Allsorts v Maple Leaf Stampede Won 3-?, best time 19.95
Race 3: Allsorts v Aces Rapids Lost, best time 19.95
Race 4: Allsorts v Knights Lost, best time 26.95 Harvey managed to get a few lights (after his lunch time kip! As did Pete, when Spencer returned munching a ball)
Race 5: Allsorts v Extrabuccs Won 3-?, best time 20.56
Evening entertainment in Peter &Wendys awning didnt finish until the early hours it has been discovered that Dave lies in bed laughing over his skinny little pigeon legs ..and Jeff & Marilyn were discovered giggling by their garden gate, cos they couldnt get in ..just how much did they have to drink??
Sunday it rained & rained & rained .Tess & Tosh was sound, Molly behaved and Alf was Alfie!
Race 1: Hotdogs v Marsh Cheetahs Won 3-0, best time 20.36
Race 2; Hotdogs v Barkshire Bandidos Won 3-2, best time 20.03
Race 3: Hotdogs v Ball Busters Lost 1-3, best time 20.27
Race 4: Hotdogs v Swifts Lost 2-3, best time 19.77
Race 5: Hotdogs v Hampshire Harriers Lost 0-3, best time 20.37
Apart from racing the Hampshire Harriers, all racing was close. Alfie gained his Silver Award, so well done to Marilyn, Jeff & Alfie. We came 4th in Div 2, best time 19.77
But that wasnt the end to the day Jeff locked his keys in the boot of the car, so Jeff & Marilyn and I waited until 10.10pm for the AA to turn up (I had just about given up waiting, ..). Dave had a flat battery, and for the 3rd(?) time this year, Peter's caravan was towed off the field (actually, I think he managed it by himself at Loseley Park)
