A slight change in the teams for today, Molly swapped her place in Allsorts with Spencer. This was done, to give Molly a chance at being released properly, rather than trying to pass when she hasn't had the practice at home. And as they appear to be roughly the same speed, it wasn't going to make too much difference, or so I had hoped!
We were in Div's 1 and 2, which made life much easier than our previous show! We started with Allsorts. On the div's seedings, it looked as though racing could be close, with only 0.43 sec separating the top 5 seeds. For some reason, we just didn't seem to be up to speed, as we were in January. I only managed to record one lot of racing times, and I think passes were variable, although this was the only race that we didn't have to push passes………………We managed to win 2 of our 5 races, with a best time of 19.73. We came 5th over all.
Hotdogs also looked like they could potentially have some good racing with only 0.4 separating the lower 5 seeds (BDR were over a second ahead of the second seed). Dave put in some excellent starts with Molly, who was slightly slower than Spencer, and with Barley feeling the effects of no exercise but lots of food (and I didn't say she was fat!), we turned out to be a little slower than usual. We only managed to win one of our races, and our best time was 19.10. And Molly only twiddled once! We came 5th over all.
