I was looking forward to some good racing in Div 2, with Spencer, Molly, Abby, Monty and Eddie. But that hope was soon dispelled, when Delia phoned to say we were now in Div 1, due to a team pulling out! So that was the end of that!!
On the morning of the show, Jan was taken ill, so Breeze had to play instead of Ed, and at full height. We were just going to have to be reliable, and hope the other teams made the mistakes if we were going to win anything, as we were running upto 3 secs slower than the top seeds. In the first session, we managed to get take PODS to 3-2 before loosing, and Dodgers and Barkshire Bandits 3-1 (with us loosing!).
In the evening session (yes, by this time it was gone 5pm, and they were ahead of time) Rosie had a play. Although she had a few hiccups, she only went towards the opposition once, and she actually done some very nice runs. So she completed both of our last races against Barkshire Bullets and Wolf Pack. Again, we managed to get Barkshire Bullets to 3-2 before loosing. So Rosie obviously got it right! (She would've re-run against the opposition).
Our best time of the day, was 20.48, and we weren't surprised to come 6th in that Div! But at least the dogs ran well.
