We had limited handlers and dogs to race in the 2 teams on Sunday. Hotdogs had Monty, Abby, Spencer, Barley and Ben in Div 1. And Allsorts just had Molly, Badger, Breeze and Lady in Div 4.
Hotdogs went from being seed 3 when the paper work arrived to seed 6 by the weekend! So we had our work cut out right from the start. We were up against teams who were all racing in the 17 sec mark. Although the team ran well, and we did get some races to 5 legs, we came last in our division. Our best time was 18.95 sec.
Allsorts had a slightly better draw at seed 3, (but with a fast seed time), and we only had the 4 dogs who had to keep going! All the dogs ran well, although they were definitely tiring by race 4 in the afternoon. Again we had some very close racing, with most of the races going to 5 legs. We eventually came 4th in Div 4 with a best time of 21.82
